Super Elements: Loving the Mirror
Loving the mirror is not about staring at yourself longer or being vain. In this universe, it's about choosing your energy, honoring your body, and remembering how you want to carry yourself. Always remember that your mirror is not a progress report; it's a tool to reflect the power of your body (and so you can see that spinach stuck between your teeth).
This week, use the mirror to honor your body with intention.

Need we say more? Not only your body, Supernova, but your mind, values, and purpose are just as fine! And while you can't see those in the mirror, you can recognize how "fine" every single part of you is.
So, before you walk away this morning, choose one word for how you want to carry your "fine" multidimensional self today: grounded, magnetic, bold, soft, powerful.
We all have a unique style. Some of us stick with what's always been comfortable. Others go with the trends. (We're millennials through-and-through.) But no matter your style, it's always super!
Today, though, what's one thing you've been wanting to try? A new style? A fresh lip color? Hair style?
Let's try making that new style super.
Your body does more than exist. It lets you move, lead, laugh, hold, create, work, recover, and begin again. It powers you through every day. We often take much of what our bodies are capable of for granted.
Look in the mirror and thank your body for one thing it helps you do well, one thing you might take for granted, and one thing you love most.
Presence starts before you speak. Sometimes the body needs to remind the brain who you are: that B! When you enter every room today, let your stance fill it with power.
Stand in front of the mirror with your shoulders open, chin up, and arms steady. Take one full breath and hold your own gaze for five seconds.
You and your body are a unique one-of-one. In all of the universe, there is no superstar as bright and authentic as you. From your shape to your energy and, yes, all of your elements.
As you stand in front of the mirror today, ask yourself, "What's one unique thing about me that I want to illuminate the most today?"
Decide on how you can find something to help that part of you shine brightly!
We know to move our bodies for health. But how about moving them for self-love? Dancing has a wide range of benefits for our mental health and cognition!
Put on one song and move in front of the mirror for thirty seconds. Have fun with it! Don't judge, don't say you don't know how to dance… You have your own vibe and rhythm, Supernova!
Before the week ends, it's time to honor everything your body can do, love where it is now, and look forward to any body goals you may have.
Name one thing your body carried you through this week. Next, find a way to show it love for where you are right now. Finally, write out one goal you may have, whether that's taking an extra walk, finding hormonal balance, or hitting a new PR in the gym!
Look at you shining! Remember, your body is not just something to look at. And it definitely is not for you to pick apart and criticize. Your body is unique, powerful, and ultimately, it's something to live in fully.
We're so glad you're part of The NOVA(Verse)™.
