SOCIAL WALL COMMUNITY

Community Guidelines

This space is here to help you feel seen, supported, and grounded in truth… not judged or sold to. Every post and reply shapes the atmosphere, so thank you for helping us keep it safe.

What we’re here for (the “Do’s”)

  • Do share your honest experiences, questions, and wins with kindness and humility.
  • Do speak to others the way you’d want to be spoken to on a hard day: supportive, curious, compassionate, and free of shame.
  • Do stay on topic: wellness, womanhood, faith, identity, and the everyday realities that come with them.
  • Do protect your privacy: share only what you’re comfortable with, and keep sensitive details (addresses, phone numbers, financial/medical records) out of posts and images.
  • Do credit original sources if you share a quote, graphic, or resource that isn’t yours.
  • Do report posts that feel unsafe, harassing, hateful, or clearly against these guidelines—your report helps protect the whole community.

What doesn’t belong here (the “Don’ts”)

  • Don’t bully, shame, mock, or attack anyone. No name‑calling, sarcasm meant to wound, or any form of harassment. You will be removed from the community.
  • Don’t post hate speech or discrimination of any kind (including around race, ethnicity, body size, ability, religion, gender, or orientation). You will be removed from the community.
  • Don’t share explicit, graphic, or sexually suggestive content, or images that are not appropriate for a women’s wellness space. You will be removed from the community.
  • Don’t give or request personalized medical, mental health, or emergency advice; this space is for sharing experiences and general education, not diagnosing or treating.
  • Don’t post spam, ads, affiliate links, recruitment pitches, or promotions for your own services, programs, or social accounts.
  • Don’t share anyone else’s private information or story (including screenshots) without their clear permission.
  • Don’t encourage self‑harm, disordered behaviors, or unsafe health practices; this content will be removed and you will be removed from the community.

How moderation works

  • We may edit, hide, or remove posts and comments that break these guidelines or feel unsafe for the community.
  • Serious or repeated violations can lead to temporary suspension or permanent removal from the Community Wall or the app.
  • Reports are confidential. When you flag something, the member you reported will not see who reported them.

This space is not a crisis line or a replacement for professional care. If you are in danger or in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a trusted professional immediately.

Getting Started

What is the Community Wall?
The Community Wall is a shared space inside the app where members can post reflections, wins, questions, and encouragement in text or images so we can learn and grow together. We also hosts challenges and giveaways.

Who can see my posts on the Community Wall?
Posts on the Community Wall are visible to other members of The NOVA(Verse) community inside the app; they are not published to public social media platforms, and, not all app users have access, only those who have joined the community.

How do I create a post?
Tap the “New post” button on the Community Wall, type your message, optionally add an image, then tap “Post.” Your update will appear in the feed for other members to see and respond to.

Can I edit or delete my post after I share it?
You can delete your own posts if you change your mind or shared something by mistake.

Names, Privacy, and Safety

Do I have to use my real name?
No. You can choose to show either your real name or your username on the Community Wall, depending on what feels safest and most comfortable for you.

Can other members see my email or other personal details?
No. Other members only see your chosen display name and the content you share; we do not show your email address or other account details on the Community Wall.

What should I avoid sharing in my posts or images?
Please do not share sensitive information (like your full address, phone number, detailed location, medical records, or financial details) about yourself or anyone else in text or images.

How do you keep the Community Wall safe?
We use a combination of clear community guidelines, active moderation, and member reports to remove harmful content and address behavior that violates our rules.

Interacting With Other Members

How do I like or respond to a post?
Tap the like icon to show support, or tap “Reply” (or the comment icon) to write a response directly underneath the post.

What kind of responses are encouraged?
We encourage kind, constructive, and on‑topic responses—things like encouragement, thoughtful questions, prayer requests, or sharing your own experience in a way that respects the original poster.

What behavior is not allowed on the Community Wall?
We don’t allow bullying, harassment, hate speech, explicit or graphic content, spam, or promotion of unsafe health practices; posts or accounts that violate these standards may be removed or restricted.

Can I promote my own products, services, or social media?
No. The Community Wall is for genuine connection and peer support, not advertising, self‑promotion, or recruiting for external programs or groups.

Reporting and Moderation

What should I do if I see a post that breaks the rules or feels unsafe?
Please email us ASAP (info@thenovaelement.com ) to flag the post, and avoid engaging with content that feels harassing, shaming, or unsafe.

What happens after I report something?
Our team reviews reported content against our community guidelines, removes posts or comments that violate them, and may restrict or remove accounts in serious or repeated cases.

Will the person I reported know it was me?
No. Reports are confidential; the member whose content is reviewed does not see who reported them.

Can my own posts be removed?
Yes. If a post violates our guidelines — for example by including hate speech, targeted harassment, explicit content, or unsafe advice — it may be removed, and we may follow up with a warning or account action.

Boundaries, Wellness, and Support

Is the Community Wall a place to get medical or mental health advice?
No. Members can share experiences and resources, but posts are not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or emergency care; always consult a qualified professional for personal treatment decisions.

What if I’m feeling triggered or overwhelmed by what I see?
You can scroll away or avoid specific conversations, take a break from the app, and, if needed, reach out to a trusted professional or crisis resource in your area.

Can I share other people’s stories, screenshots, or messages?
No, not without their expressed permission. Only share your own story, and never post screenshots or details that could identify someone else without their clear permission.

Can my account be suspended or removed?
Yes. Serious or repeated violations of our community guidelines — such as harassment, hate speech, explicit content, or threats — will result in permanent removal from the Community Wall and the app.
